Many Indian websites offer banner advertising on a monthly/CPM basis.
Since most of their visitors are from India, advertising is not very useful for exporters, who are usually targeting only foreign importers.
Rediff offers Pay4Clicks where they only charge you for the Clicks that you get for your banner ads. They charge you Rs.10 for every click that your banner receives. They do not charge you for displaying the advertisements on their site.

Indiamart offers banner advertising at rates that vary from Rs 75000 to Rs 4000 per month
For other website rates vary from Rs 250 - Rs 450 per thousand impressions (CPM)
MSN India and Yahoo India also offer targeted advertising campaigns, for mainly retail sales
